anjelica again

you can't talk me out of anjelica huston. i love this photograph. i love the way the lush fur coat obscures part of her face. i dig the bird. the bird is like, "...this is the coolest... anjelica huston? this rocks!" actually, i don't speak 'bird.' he might just be thinking: "...seed? yes." ummm, after so many months of short-form tumblr-blogging, i'm having trouble thinking of what to say. but that's not going to stop me. so if some of these entries seem short? again, bear with me. and hey, speaking of birds... what's with that 'surfin' bird' song? annoying.

okay, it's been a lonnng damn time since i've been over here. ( yeah, too damn long, i hear ya... ) so all my thousands of followers, be patient with me whilst i get my snarky-ass blog-legs back. so, i promised a dear friend that i'd try to do at least one entry a night. so to welcome you back, i chose this very groovy shot of a young anjelica huston. hey, wild jack nicholson 'hit that.' and he's got good taste. she's the slinkiest! and let's hear it for her 'love to hate her' performance in 'crimes and misdemeanors.' well, i guess you more pity her than hate her. man, being back here makes me realize how much it sucks on Fb that you can't use those ga-roovy italics...!!!

emerald jelica

i think its cool that i've just recently (well, relatively recently) learned that anjelica huston once had a flourishing modeling career. and thanks to the 'sweeping-cape' nature of 'This Wild Machine,' i'm able to see some of the groovy photos that were produced over those years. i really like this one. here we have the crucial-and-beautiful miss huston, dreamily dolled up in cool, minty, dreamy, jungly shades of green. wow, look at those eyes... how they glint and glitter like malachite. she seems to be ...acting, like, conveying an emotion, even though its 'just a photo shoot.' i love the jewled vest... i dig the flowing, long legs of the outfit. but above all, i just love that look on her face. so bright, so positive, so lovely. she looks both 'smart and logical,' yet still 'wistful and hopelessly romantic.' i love this era of clothing and photography. i wish there was a lot more stuff out there just like this. groovy. jack and 'jelica

okay, i know i've posted a lot of 'celebrity' picksh lately; not to mention a goodly share of anjelica huston picksh, but i figured one more couldn't hurt. i think this one might also be a 'studio 54' shot. but i think its quite good. i mean, jack looks good, and anjelica looks gorgeous. i like the angle, i like the contrast, i like the flower in her hair. i don't really know too much about their relationship like, factually... but in this shot, it sure looks like they're into eachother. i don't know if they ever had a child. but wow, they sure look good together. man, i don't know if i'll ever go 'clubbing' again. even if i had the opportunity, i don't know if i could manage the energy. plus, you have to shout all the time, and worry about 'where the hell is my purse?' and i don't like that feeling that can best be described as, '...i danced too hard to that last song, and now i honestly can't tell if i'm three seconds away from dropping the vom-bomb.' and i don't really like not having zero control over the music. and it gets hot in there, man. and i can truthfully claim that i've never had sex in a club. but considering my behavior through much of the '90's, that's purely accidental. 70's anjelica

yeah, the last time i featured anjelica it was a hit. so i figured i'd give her another slot. this was for some make-up ad back in 1973. she looks gorgeous. i'm a sucker for a 70's-styled make-up job. and she's so lovely. i think i remember reading someplace that she had a hard time getting into pictures at the beginning of a career because some studio exec said she had a face like a gnu. ouch. i guess somebody failed to mention her daddy was the big bad movie giant, director john huston. i don't think she looks like a gnu at all. i think she's gorgeous. and wow, what a make-up job, am i right ladies? just stunning. and have you seen her in woody allen's 'crimes and misdemeanors?' she kills in that movie.

okay, after this one, people are really gonna think i'm a lesbian. (not that there's anything wrong with that.) but i thought this shot of a very young and nude miss anjelica huston was worth posting just because like, hey... where else have you ever seen anjelica huston in the complete and total huston-nude? actually, i think she looks quite beautiful. and hey, who saw 'the grifters?' was she crucial in that movie or what? ahhh, what the hell am i talking about? i'm tired and it shows... posting pictures of nude oscar winners? sigh. oh well, at least she's natural. that's what i love about older erotic photography... you can be sure there's 100% no silicone included. i think all the natural girls should be super-proud. and so should anjelica. rock on, naked miss anjelica huston!
