'eglantine' : unknown

ahhh, i love jean-lucien. he sends me some of the most beautiful stuff. he sent me this movie poster a little whild ago... i instantly thought it was 'desktop-worthy.' and jean-luc had the same reaction; it was already on his desktop. and as of 'now,' its on mine. i have never seen this movie... i have never heard of this movie. (mmm, imagine that.) but i think the poster is so elegant and cunning and lovely, that i just couldn't resist giving it an electronic place of honor. i love the boy and girl children in the lower foreground; the boy in official dark navy little soldier's dress, and the girl in very feminine pink ruffles, etc. it reminds me of jean-luc and i... finding our way through the woods. i'd love to say i've heard of the director jean-claude brialy, but honestly, i have not. in fact, none of the French names ring familiar. but i thought the poster was pretty enough to stand on its own. and i love that word: 'eglantine.' i have no idea what it means, but it sounds good, looks good, and feels good rolling off the tongue. so dig it, and perhaps i'll have the pleasure of screening 'eglantine' sometime in the future. ...apparently, 'eglantine' is a girl's name.
