here's a magnificent slide jean-lucien made from some of his own images, and some i sent him. i love the overall result. let's see, we've got a cool harmonious blend of bob dylan, romeo and juliet, and bryan ferry. i think i took the screen shot of ferry, and may have sent him the picture of the star-crossed lovers, but all the magic credit goes to jean-lucien; for he's the one who stitched it all together so beautifully. so dig it.

wow... i tried to post this last night, but there was that mysterious 'internal server error,' so this birthday wish is a little late. april 17 th was the 57th birthday of the timelessly lovely miss olivia hussey. i have never seen a more beautiful or vibrant juliet. this shot is from the standard-setting 1968 version of the shakespeare romantic tragedy. it was directed by franco zeffirelli, and wowed wide audiences then, with its daring teenage nudity. (her gorgeous ample bust makes her one stacked 13 year old. and yes, the original script indicates the play takes place some time before her 14th birthday.) so, happy birthday olivia. thou art the lovliest juliet yet.

acting straight

...or straight-acting? here is a charming shot of a younger ian mckellan kissing a willing and younger francesca annis. they were putting on 'romeo and juliet,' sometime a long time ago. i like this picture. i wonder if either of them was the slightest bit turned on. but hey, like holly body said herself, 'acting is acting.'
