morrissey in profile

i really should post more shots of my darling morrissey. here's a screen capture i took from my 'who put the m in manchester?' dvd. it was originally in color, but i thought it was more striking in black and white. what a face. what a difference a little bit of age makes. so handsome. in this shot, i think he's singing the amazing, dreamy slow song, 'i'm not sorry.' its a great song. i might post it if i can find this exact version. i don't really have too much to say about this one. he just looks great, and that's more or less the reason it made the cut. so sexy.

e is for esteban - (morrissey) - noone can hold a candle to you : video

morrissey's real full name, as many of you no doubt already know, is steven patrick morrissey. he's often referred to as 'esteban' by his latin and non-latin fans. (if you think you know differently, please hold you 'corrective' emails, i don't want to hear it.) anyway, i feel two ways about posting this. after all, the song is a cover version, but on the other hand, it is, hands down, one of the best and brightest numbers from the magnificent 'who put the m in manchester' dvd. (which i highly recommend.) i challenge the beautiful and discerning lucynell to listen to the song, and i dare her to dig it. like, even without the sexy visuals, the song has a spirited, aching, catchy-as-hell 80's flavor. i love this one. and i think morrissey looks incredible all sweaty and expressive. he's like, a thousand times sexier than he was in the smiths days. dig it.

mmmmanchester

yes, morrissey. everybody knows i love morrissey. eveybody who knows anything about morrissey knows how cool guitarist alain whyte is. so here's a picture of the both of them. jean-lucien captured this from the 'who put the m in manchester?' dvd a long time ago. there was a time when i would've been able to tell you what song they were on just from looking at the frame, but sadly now i don't think i could do better than to tell you its after the first song, but before the last few. his shirt alone gives up that much information. its a very pretty shot. its a great dvd. you need to go out and buy it, watch it at that all-important 'maximum volume.'

chained

here's a very cool still i snapped from morrissey's (highly recommended) concert dvd 'who put the m in manchester?' the man is sexy all over... even the back of his head is sexy. this moment comes just as the band launches into the smith's classic 'rubber ring.' i think the version on the dvd is every bit as good as the original track. in fact, i like it better. it sounds looser, easier, sexier than the earlier release. (and i'm not a huge fan of johnny marr, anyway.) i like this shot because i'm the kind of girl that gets a little fetishistic when she's attracted to someone. once i find someone sexy, every little thing about them ...indeed, even the nape of their neck, has the potential to drive me crazy. and again, i highly recommend the dvd.
