sundown
ahhh, the sheer genius of jean-lucien godet. this one, as you can see, stars twiggy, bedecked with funky jewelry and rings. the real visual coolness lies within the astounding talent of jean-lucien godet. i mean, like, wow, am i right? how does he do it? over and over again? i could stare at his stuff for long undetermined periods of time. man.... look forward to more to come.
i mean, he's cute and all, but...
okay, i'm not gonna lie, i used to be; and still am, a die-hard Monkees fan. but i never had anything resembling a 'nervous breakdown' over anyone in that band. and i'm sure that story was written by some random editor anyway. i kinda wish i could read that article, man. i'm sure it would be very worthy of the stamp "unintentionally hilarious." and i dig the way the shot of jones they chose to use like, he couldn't look more bored with the whole idea. wait, i just noticed it said in the small print it was written by 'Jennifer L., age 14.' yeah, right.
lezbee friends... susan and catherine
hey, i hope i don't offend anyone with this sultry shot of catherine deneuve and susan sarandon from 'the hunger.' hey, lesbian vampires? sounds like it was filmed in the 'vampiriffic' climate of current times, no? i remember the first time i saw this sequence on HBO ( or Cinemax, i don't remember where it landed first. ) and don't laugh, i remember my brother and i were on the floor in the living room in our old house with my mom on the sofa behind us. and when david bowie's character died, were were like, teen-age-fan-crush crying over it, and our mom was like, sighing real hard and making snide comments about how it was just a movie. i remember thinking with a sob-choked inner voice; "...shut up!" but of course, i could never tell my mom to shut up.... but jean-luc and i looked at eachother and i knew we were thinking something along the lines of : "...if we had a tv in our room like christy taylor we could be watching this and crying in peace." oh, but where was i? oh yeah, back to the soft-core lesbianism. did you know those weren't deneuve's real boobs? for some reason they got a body double. if you notice, her head's not in the shot. they are susan's real boobs, though. susan's boobs are like, a gift from the tit gods. ( now that sounded really dumb. )
steamy!
jean-luc sent me this shot a few nights ago... what have we here? let's see... we've got humphrey bogart and peter lorre... in a steam room... obviously very towel-NUDE! like, i'm not sayin' there was anything gay goin' on... but they certainly seem comfortable bein' all 'Hollywood' nude together, playin' a game of cards. and hey, who knew lorre was rockin' so much hunky chest hair? hey, you know who won this card game? we did, for being able to dig on this steamin' shot of some old time-movie-star-'whackety-smackety.'
let's get it on!
hey, what would a 'planetcool' party be without a little 80's action. ahhh, 'star hits' magazine. look, next to john it says, "...hey star hits, let's get it on..." ahhh, i get it... because of their thumpy 'bang a gong' song. teenage confession: when i was a young teen, i remember looking forward to the first single from john taylor's latest project, and when i heard it was called 'get it on; bang a gong,' i remember feeling oddly embarrassed in my own head because i thought the title 'sounded dumb.' ( teenage frets. ) it also says you can win a phone call from wham! i didn't enter. i'll bet nobody actually won it. like, who'd know? and what is all that frosted blue junk in andy's hair? give up, andy. it's not gonna help. you're not fine. ( ouch! )
jean-lucien rules
here's a sweet eye-treat to dazzle up the 'welcome back planetcool' party. i just realized how many stunning works of art that have piled up since the last time i was on here. jean-lucien just sent me this image today. man, what talent. what an eye for beauty and just plain visual grooviness. it's like my brain is eating some kind of strange ice cream that only jean-lucien has the recipe for. look at the intricacy of those scissor skills! wooo, i wish i could do that. okay, i'm kinda really digging being back in that intergalactic driver's seat. i kinda wanna 'floor it,' and 'do donuts.' mmm, gonna get pulled over.
groovy 'jelica huston
okay, it's been a lonnng damn time since i've been over here. ( yeah, too damn long, i hear ya... ) so all my thousands of followers, be patient with me whilst i get my snarky-ass blog-legs back. so, i promised a dear friend that i'd try to do at least one entry a night. so to welcome you back, i chose this very groovy shot of a young anjelica huston. hey, wild jack nicholson 'hit that.' and he's got good taste. she's the slinkiest! and let's hear it for her 'love to hate her' performance in 'crimes and misdemeanors.' well, i guess you more pity her than hate her. man, being back here makes me realize how much it sucks on Fb that you can't use those ga-roovy italics...!!!
