oh dear sweet victor

victor spinetti, ladies and gentlemen. okay, i'm gonna sound like a gushing schoolgirl... victor has always had that kind of an effect on me. yes, i threw in my copy of the beatles film classic 'a hard day's night' the other night, with the express purpose of capturing a few stills of the lovely welsh-italian mongrel that IS mr. victor spinetti. i say, and i have always said, that he has, quite proverbially: the prettiest eyes in the business. hey, victor, if you're out there somewhere, did you hear me?? i said: you have the 'prettiest eyes in the business.' there is not even any close competition. he's tall, he's elegant, he's funny. he's keen and coy and a very subtle flirt. he's a tall, graceful creature with undeniable talent, and a truly heartbreaking set of eyelashes. his voice is like falling into a bed full of handmade quilts with a fire at the foot of the bed... with just the coldest hint of very light snowflakes spiking frozen patterns on the icy indigo windowpane. ahhh, you'll have to forgive me. something about this gentleman's profile conjures up my inner poetess. what a perfect forehead... and that incredible nose! such a marvelous shape... sighhhh. i've been to many great museums in this vast american land... i've beheld sculptures and paintings and tapestries and likenesses from countless realms around the world... still, i have never seen anything like it. just gorgeous.
