you know, some people have said that david bowie wasn't being the least-bit sarcastic with all his 'spaceman,' 'starman,' 'man who fell to earth' stuff. like, some people have gone on record saying they believe he may be an actual alien. and, looking at pictures of him from around this time, its easy to see why they might think something like that. like, here we have a picture of three random guys, gathered somewhere in some backstage location, and bowie, being the oldest guy in years by a lonnng shot, he weirdly looks as if he could be the youngest. like, what does that man wash his face with? like, 'lamb tears' or something? (mmm, yes, 'lamb tears.') as i'm sure you have all figured out, the two blokes he's partying with are gary oldman on the left, and ed norton on the right. and hey, you all know how much i dig gary oldman, but i have to admit he comes in 'dead last' in this three-way facial horserace. like, what's with that 'cat in the hat' scarf? not flattering. but i still dig this shot, because i can't think of any 'hollywood'-related reason why these three guys would be in the same room. like, they didn't all three work on the same movie, did they? like, some movie i'm totally unaware of? well, anyway, dig the shot.
