i've got the fever!

okay, so... first up, it was a long, long day, with a lot of walking around, and humid, miserable grey weather... i had to get up early for my doctor's thing... but, after i got home and washed all the sweat and rain and grime off, i got the mail! yes, i got a generous 'care package' of picksh and stuff from my darling beloved jean-lucien. along with the picksh, and a fresh pair of knee socks, which i like, really needed, 'cause mine were like, soaked... was fresh cool dvd copy of 'saturday night fever!' i had never seen the whole thing before... like, i'd only seen about 17 collective minutes of it... on 'clean-language' cable. so, i popped it in, and now i feel like part of lucynell and lucien's 'disco club,' because once i started it, i didn't want to stop! and, it was at that precise moment that my computer's dvd drive decided to act up and freeze on me! i had to stop it, wait ten minutes, and start it over again where i left off. i almost said like, '...screw it, i'll watch the rest of it tommorrow,' ...but i was just so sucked into it, i didn't wanna wait that long. so, i just kept letting it calm down and then i started it back up again. it took me almost three and a half hours to finish it. but yeah, it was great. the dialogue in particular, was electric. i mean, the whole thing was great, but the writing in particular struck me. so... that explains this screen shot, which, as you may know, is the very last shot it in the movie. i mean, the dvd drive, when it was running properly, i was so afraid it would freeze up again if i stopped to snap a picture, that i waited until the very end and got the very last shot. so yeah, here it is disco lovers. and thanks jean-lucien, for always giving me a happy ending. (and beginning, and everything in between... like hey, jean-luc... i know 'how deep is your love,' ...like, you just proved it, with your flash care package of disco goods!) click to enlarge.
