i posted the video below last night forgetting to mention its a lovely haunting musical clip from ken russell's incredible 'the music lovers' starring richard chamberlain and glenda jackson. there's a great deal of plot in it. i always say that ken russell would've been every bit as effective had he directed silent films. so much is communicated through shots and expressions and editing and framing, etc. it comes on rather loud, but give it a second to calm down and get going. its just gorgeous. god bless ken russell.
