when i type i always make a 'tile' which i use to mark each page by numbers. each note gets its own icon, a maximum of ten pages to a note. those ten-page batches mark chapters. some are less, but usually no less than seven pages, single-spaced. the next chapter will bear this cool cut of miss georgina hale in 'mahler.' there was a bit of hand-tinting involved in the colors. just beautiful.
