here's an odd shot taken from the adam ant video 'stand and deliver,' which may be his best. the song is hot, the video successfully straddles the line between serious and playful, and the band were at the height of their game. from the first image of the adam drawing pistols in an highwayman ambush, to the ending sequence of adam's pirate deliverance from the hangman's noose, the video works. i daresay it even holds up as quite delightful more than 20 years later. hey, it makes me want to roll it now! i don't think i'll get any argument when i say that adam has never looked better. i like the 'taken from the tv screen' quality this particular shot has. i didn't take the shot myself, and i don't remember where i found it, but i did trick the colors and add the jolly roger in the upper right hand corner. groovy.
