this is simon le bon, sometime around 1982. he's absolutely drenched in the 'rio' album. his silver tiger baby necklace charm can clearly be seen. what a face. you can't talk me out of simon le bon. he's a hell of a performer who earnestly wants to give the people a good show. i was about 11 years old when i saw pictures of simon and the rest of duran duran looking like this. i suppose it was no wonder the local boys just failed to leave much of an impression on me.
