well folks, today is the big day. and a perfect chance for me to post this great playboy magazine cover from 1968. i should be able to tell you who was running that year. johnson and nixon? wait, lemme check. hey yeah, i was right. sort of. johnson was the incumbent, and nixon and humphrey were the runners? with wallace in there too? hey, i'm only going on what the big bad wikipedia is telling me. which is no excuse, i should have that information independently. hopefully, by this time tomorrow night, i'll have good news. but if not, we'll all get through it somehow, lovers. until then, i cast my vote for fun, love, delicious foods, good sleep, sweet dreams, excellent music, faithful friends, reasonable painlessness, plenty in general, and just enough sexiness-of-your-choice to 'get you through the night.'
