mmm, yes... chicks, yes. and some of the sexiest chicks there are (were), are the chicks from the pages of 70's 'playboy.' i can't see the date too clearly, but i think it says 1977. and its not too hard to find the hidden bunny on this one... like, its the big blue blow-up toy. but hey, not like you'll even notice the blow-up bunny with a saucy babe like this hot brunette hangin' on. mmm,where do i start? she's slim, she's shapely, she's cute-in-the-face... she's got sweet medium sudsy boobs, slightly squished against the bunny head... and man, is that a cute little butt or what? jussst the right amount of 'cheek' going on. but hey... you all know me... MY eyes seem to go straight for those strappy, sexy shoes! check out those perfect strappy, sapphire blue 'disco heels!' and what a gorgeous curve her calf muscle has! now, i don't remember ever owning this issue. if i did, it most likely had the cover torn off... but hey, fortunately, i can still enjoy it NOW, thanks to the miracle of modern digital machinery. wow, i can't take my eyes off her butt-and-legs-and-shoes! hey, she really knows how to 'bring sexy back,' to planetcool! hey, before i was born! yeah, i don't feel super inspired, but i didn't post anything last night, so i figured it wouldn't hurt if i just threw a rare 'playboy' cover up here. the date is february, 1972. jean-luc and i were like, about a month old, conception-wise. i like the cover, though. the girl looks pretty, and i like the stark profile vibe it has. i also think its kinda funny that the hand touching her has like, big manly hairs on the knuckle and a chunky gold man's ring. like, hey... you can tell that hand doesn't belong to nick rhodes. i picture someone more like, along the lines of burt reynolds or like, i dunno... james caan. (?) anyway, i think almost every playboy cover from that era is worth a look, and i don't think i've posted this one before. and if i did, it was so far back it doesn't make any difference now. so dig it!

hey, its been a while since i posted a 'playboy' cover, so um... here you go! i actually remember the first time i saw this one. i was about 9 years old, and in my father's house in florida. i remember sitting in some hippy room with a bed on the floor, listening to the radio, and digging on the groovy naked girls and sassy cartoons. i love the ivory garters and stockings. they just don't 'make 'em like that' anymore. let's take a look at some of the features. it boasts shots of 'sexy girls you wish you worked with.' man, they should've seen some of the beasts i've worked with over the years. oh, and off to the left, i think this is hilarious... it says: 'how the bee gees got to be so big.' ummm, i'm just gonna take a wild guess here... but maybe because they 'sound real good?' and man, dig those shoes! they're the strappy, sexy best!

it gives you an election

well folks, today is the big day. and a perfect chance for me to post this great playboy magazine cover from 1968. i should be able to tell you who was running that year. johnson and nixon? wait, lemme check. hey yeah, i was right. sort of. johnson was the incumbent, and nixon and humphrey were the runners? with wallace in there too? hey, i'm only going on what the big bad wikipedia is telling me. which is no excuse, i should have that information independently. hopefully, by this time tomorrow night, i'll have good news. but if not, we'll all get through it somehow, lovers. until then, i cast my vote for fun, love, delicious foods, good sleep, sweet dreams, excellent music, faithful friends, reasonable painlessness, plenty in general, and just enough sexiness-of-your-choice to 'get you through the night.' p is for playboy

yeah, i've posted several playboy covers so far on 'planetcool,' and most of my mates surely know of my devotion to vintage playboys. the girls were so much curvier, so much more playful, and almost assuredly 99.9% silicon free. i mean, look at those sturdy, curvaceous legs! look at those amazing vintage platform shoes! man, i don't know what's sexier; the broad, or the shoes! i love the fact that she's smiling though, instead of throwing down that steely-eyed, bitchy, i-can-and-will-kick-your-ass! look. yeah, this girl looks like she'd go for a pillow fight, some tickling, and some laughs before she 'got serious.' its amazing to look at this picture and know that most modern amercian girls would actually call her fat. i chose this one because well, first of all, i hadn't posted it yet, and also because its the issue for september, 1972... the year jean-lucien and i were born. i don't know if i ever had this issue. if i did, it must've had the cover torn off, because i really don't think i owned this cover. yeah, i got most of my vintage playboys and penthouses at the very well-stocked, dirty, unprofessional, and now-defunct Atlas bookstore in greensboro, nc. man, we combed the hell out of that place, didn't we lovers? yes, i just can't get enough... of vintage 'playboy' magazine, that is. here's another issue i don't remember having growing up. like i've said of other issues, if my brother and i did have it, we must've gotten one without the cover, because i know i wasn't aware of this particular cover until i saw it years and years later. it enlarges pretty nicely, so click on it to see it full-size. i know with a little research, i could find out who the centerfold was, but i don't feel like looking it up right now.
