use the force, mort

here is a great detail from one of mort drucker's many genius movie parodies made for MAD magazine. it's weird to me, sometimes, that mort drucker isn't more of a household name. perhaps i overestimated how many people were hooked on his work through the late 60's to early-mid 80's. his quality never wavered, and his uncanny talent for caricature remains unmatched. oddly enough, he had a hard time rendering human hands. still, this strip is well executed, self-contained, and above all, very funny.
