here is a cleverly-cut detail my mate jean-lucien sliced from one of his larger works. it underscores his genius, because even though only a sliver of the original piece, its a sound work of art on its own. of course, he's one of the best 'cutters' i've ever seen. whether editing film, shooting stills, or scissoring paper, jean-lucien is not unlike a surgical shakespeare. it is no exaggeration when i boast that if i were ever shot, i would not only trust him to remove the slug, but to stitch me up afterwards as well. he's my hawkeye. i love him.
