speaking as a 'casablanca' purist, i recognize the fact that rick never said 'play it again, sam.' other purists know what he said. all the same, i needed a cool tagline for my nightly 'sexy person smoking' feature. and tonight's smoker seems to fly in the face of my 'ugly is the new cute' philosophy. there is no universe known to me in which johnny depp could ever be called ugly. this shot of him smoking and playing piano is already iconic in my family. so dig it, the smutty, genius sex appeal.
