yeah, as i mentioned below, but i don't exactly have an overload of ideas tonight. but i thought we'd all be able to dig on this admittedly lovely shot of cher, photographed by richard avedon. i kind of feel two ways about cher; kind of the same way i feel about barbra. she can look truly beautiful, as this picture clearly illustrates. and i do think she can act... but, i also think she can be 'unintentionally hilarious' ... like in her late 80's hair serum ads. didn't she do something about some kind of hair smoother? ahhh, it was a long time ago. i'm pretty sure she also put out some kind of exercise video thing. i really wish she'd never gotten any 'work done,' because i have a feeling she would've aged quite nicely. but seriously, i love this picture. i love the silver dress and the pose, and she lends the dress the distant coldness it seems to want. (??) anyway, 'iv'e got her, babe,' on my blog!

She does look beautiful here. And I really wish you would watch Moonstruck again. It may be a tad overrated, but it is a great movie and she is great in it.
