i know i just posted a shot of miss monroe earlier this week, but i wanted to post this one on the grounds that its really sexy and i've never seen it before. i love the soft haziness to it. and she just looks so shy and soft and backstage-deelish. i'm not sure what picture she's working on, but for some reason i'm thinking it had to be around the time she did 'let's make love,' or 'some like it hot.' you know, when she was all lush and sudsy and beautifully well over 30. and even though her face is a little bit fuzzy and turned to the side, i still think she looks happy, somehow. i mean, she wasn't 'sad and tragic' marilyn all the time... i'm sure she had her good days. i've been avidly looking at and searching out shots of marilyn since i was a little girl, so i love it when i see a shot i've never seen before. so dig it, her creamy deelish-ousness.
