i haven't posted any work by the Master alphonse mucha in a long time. its getting late fast, so this might be the only thing i get to hang. its a good one, if you ask me. i love the clever use of red, the hand-fashioned thorny lettering, and just the drawing talent in general. man, this day felt long. i actually spent two hours watching a network-worsened pan-and-scan airing of the musical 'annie.' yeeesh. why do they have miss hannigan at the big party at the end? knowing she was like, the prime 'bad guy' through 99% of the movie. then she shows up on an elephant all like, swami-glam and welcome to the shindig. that's never made sense to me. but hey, where was i? oh yeah, alphonse mucha. i think i might have seen this painting 'live' in a raleigh, nc museum. his stuff is just like, the best there is.
