g is for gary

...gary oldman. umm, i don't know where to begin. i can start by saying it was hard finding 'just the right picture' of him. until i started searching the Pearlbeds for Shots i never realized he had cloaked himself in so many 'looks.' i knew i didn't want a 'vampire' picture. i wanted something more human. but the man is almost always in character. gary oldman is something like a well-kept secret for me. i often think about him, but its been a long, long time since i actually talked about him. i don't know if its his voice, face, talent, mystery... ahh, wow... i don't know what it is about him. god, i can't seem to form a cohesive english sentence with gary oldman on my mind. perhaps its his ease at affecting any facial expression...any voice, any character. its almost as if he doesn't exist without a part to play. liking gary oldman is not unlike wooing a very clever ghost. why do i find such a phantom so appealing? i think it can be dissolved down to a single word: quality. Quality.

Also, remember that ten minutes in the early nineties when he was married to Uma Thurman? I was so jealous of all of that...
